This blog chronicals the voyage of Welcome, a purpose built boat, built in the UK, to join the Oyster World Rally for a 15 month west sailing, tradewind following circumnavigation from Antigua to Antigua. The OWR starts in January 2026 and ends April 2027. The rally distance is 27,000nm, with about 27 stopovers along the way. But first we have to get the boat from the UK to Antigua.
